This is an ideal spot for travellers keen on great hiking, horse riding, swimming, canoeing and bird watching. Mweni Cultural Centre also provide African cultural experiences such as visits to a sangoma (traditional healer) and traditional dancing.

There is a central self catering kitchen. All meals can be catered for on request. Guests are advised to bring along a waterproof jacket, water bottle, gear for cold and wet weather, a tent, torch, hiking boots, sleeping bag and a cell phone. Accommodated is provided in rondavels, tents and the cave, the homestead can be organised on request. The rondavels have a lounge, kitchen with gas cooking facilities, spotless ablutions, bedding and towels.
